A Day of Firsts

Judy In Disguise makes her first start since being purchased by Eclipse Thoroughbreds and Highfield SF Ltd. a winning one at Golden Gate February 2nd. She draws away to win by 8 1/2 easy lengths.

 

 

Daughter of Wilko wins the $300,000 California Breeders Champion Stakes

Qianona, a daughter of Wilko won the $300,000 California Breeders Champion Stakes from Santa Anita. “She was “absolutely flying”, and ran “a devastating last quarter mile” – Trevor Denman.

Foaling Season Underway

The foaling season is underway here at Highfield. First of the year is a Cape Canaveral filly out of Atlantic Chinook, January 23rd.  Mare has been rebred to Cape Canaveral.

Bullseye Bess foaled a dkbay/brn Alydeed filly Feb 17.  Mare will be rebred to Wilko.

Lemon Pepper foaled a dkbay/brn Exhi filly Feb 25th.

Highfield Will Be Standing Wilko In 2013
