Race 1 – (first time) Maidens
Passive the 2016 filly by Violence out of Ennis Lady (Speightstown) made an impressive winning debut. Passive commanded the lead early and took the win by 4 lengths. Passive is bred and owned by Highfield, trained by Greg Tracy and ridden by jockey Rico Walcott.
Alberta Bound finished a strong second to his stablemate. This was also the debut for the Tapizar gelding out of the stakes placed mare Zenzara (Medaglia d’oro). Alberta Bound is bred and owned by Highfield, trained by Greg Tracy and ridden by jockey Keishan Balgodbin.
Race 8 – Allowance Optional Claiming 35,000
Moon King the 2013 gelding by Malibu Moon earned a third place finish in race 8. Moon King is owned by Highfield, Blue Diamond Stables and Irving Devey. Trained by Greg Tracy and ridden by jockey Keishan Balgodbin.
